Scenario: backup is missing pfi file. Sometimes pfi file could be damaged or corrupted or deleted somehow so restoring we get troubles. This problem could be fixed rebuilding backup. Run Restore Wizard. Switch to file view. Navigate to backup location. Choose PVHD (VHD\VMDK\VHDX) – the main backup container. Confirm rebuilding.
